CRIME ALERT – Robbery

On Saturday, June 4, , at 10:57 p.m. VUPD received a report of two people being robbed at One Hundred Oaks. The victims were sitting on the outside stairs between Burlington and the “C” entrance of One Hundred Oaks when a car approached and dropped off one subject in front of Burlington before continuing on past the couple. The subject who had been dropped off approached the couple, pointed a gun at them and told them to give him what they had. After the robbery, the subject got back into the vehicle, which then headed  toward Thompson Lane.

Descriptions:

  • The vehicle is described as an older model, light blue Buick 4-door car, possibly with a handicap license plate.
  • The robber is described as a male black between 16-17 years old, 5’8” tall and 125-130 pounds. He had dreadlocks and was wearing blue jeans shorts and a white T-shirt with a blue design on the front.
  • There was no description of the driver of the vehicle.
