Volunteers needed for 12th South neighborhood health fair

Volunteers are needed for the Neighborhoods Inspire Health Fair scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 20.

Volunteers are needed for the Neighborhoods Inspire Health Fair scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 20.

The event will be held at Sevier Park on Granny White Pike in Nashville’s 12th South neighborhood.

Health screenings will be provided by Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Volunteers are needed to help perform the following screenings:

  • height and weight
  • blood pressure
  • finger stick (via Cholestech procedure)
  • Cholestech machines
  • health advising

Non-medical needs include registration, greeters and runners.
