Undergraduates from across the country attended a summer research conference at Vanderbilt this week sponsored by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. Participating institutions included Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Emory University, Mayo Clinic, UT Southwestern Medical Center and Yale University.  Vanderbilt’s Billy Hudson, Ph.D., Julie Hudson, M.D., and Roy Zent, M.D., Ph.D., helped organize the event.
