The Vanderbilt Burn Center recently began using a Wii video game console as part of therapy for some of its patients, particularly pediatric patients who are having difficulty regaining mobility after suffering burn injuries.

Here, 8-year-old Gavin Chitwood and therapist Trae Williams, P.T., DPT, give the device a workout.

The Wii was a gift from the Chattanooga Firefighter’s Association.
