Male adults needed for hearing study

May. 22, 2017, 3:41 PM

The Vanderbilt Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences is seeking male adults to participate in a research study. The study will explore how the brain processes linguistic sounds.

For this study, we will record your brain waves as you listen to sounds. The study will take about one hour.

To be eligible for the study, you must be a native speaker of English with normal hearing and 18-30 years old.

You will not be eligible for this study if you have had a concussion within the last three months and/or have a history of language impairment, dyslexia, ADHD or seizures.

Participants will be compensated $15 for their time.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Magdalene Jacobs at magdalene.s.jacobs@vanderbilt.edu.
