David Robertson, MD, second from left, poses with three longtime colleagues who spoke during last week’s symposium honoring his scientific legacy. From left are former Vanderbilt colleague Randy Blakely, PhD, and Taiwanese scientists Che-Se Tung, MD, PhD, and Ching-Jiunn Tseng, MD, PhD. Robertson, who retired from Vanderbilt last year after serving for 30 years as director of the Clinical Research Center and for 39 years as founding director of the Autonomic Dysfunction Center, is internationally known for his groundbreaking work in defining and treating often-debilitating neurological disorders of blood pressure regulation. The two-day symposium featured experts in autonomic disorders from around the world.
