Aug. 23, 2018—More than 5,000 people gathered for the Arrington Vineyards Harvest Party on Saturday, Aug. 11, to benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The daylong event, now in its seventh year, featured wine tastings, food trucks and a concert by country music star Kix Brooks.

Aug. 16, 2018—Premier Parking is teaming up with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt to create custom Children’s Hospital signage that will feature patient artwork and be displayed in seven select parking lots throughout downtown Nashville.

Aug. 2, 2018—U.S. Navy two-star Rear Adm. Christina Alvarado visited Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt recently to interact with patients and teach them about the duties of the Navy as well as tour Children’s Hospital with leadership and staff. Alvarado is deputy chief of the Bureau of Medicine & Surgery, Reserve Policy and Integration. She is also a registered nurse.
Aug. 2, 2018—The Nashville Collaborative, a unique academic-community partnership between Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and Nashville Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation, recently celebrated 10 years of work aimed at improving children’s health through family-based, community-centered programs.
