Event honors pioneers in education, science and medicine

Jan. 7, 2019—Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (VUSM) honored six pioneers for their historic contributions to education, science and medicine during a formal portrait unveiling at Langford Auditorium Dec. 17, 2018. The event, hosted by the Office of Diversity Affairs, was held as part of Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Sep. 27, 2018—Vanderbilt University School of Medicine will present its 17th annual Levi Watkins Jr., MD, Lecture at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 9, in 208 Light Hall. The lecture is sponsored by the school’s Office for Diversity Affairs.

Churchwell named to new Chief Diversity Officer role
