May. 24, 2018—Vanderbilt University’s transformational Trans-Institutional Programs initiative heads into a fourth year with grants awarded to seven interdisciplinary projects that involve more than 60 faculty members.
Mar. 28, 2018—Deerfield Management and Vanderbilt University announced March 28 the launch of Ancora Innovation, LLC (“Ancora”), a Deerfield company that will support Vanderbilt’s innovative life science research and leverage Deerfield’s expertise in accelerating state-of-the-art drug development.
Mar. 5, 2018—More than 15 programs, including internal funding initiatives and professional development opportunities, will be showcased March 22 at the Faculty Funding and Resource Fair.
Nov. 20, 2017—Fifteen Vanderbilt faculty members conducting a range of biomedical and clinical research have been elected fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Six of the 15 have received funding through the university’s Trans-Institutional Programs initiative, which facilitates research and teaching collaborations across disciplines and are a core pillar of the university’s Academic Strategic Plan.
Oct. 26, 2017—After two years of study and numerous listening sessions with students, postdoctoral fellows and providers, Vanderbilt has made the decision to transition to a new integrated model of care for campus resources that address mental health and well-being services for all students and fellows.

Aug. 28, 2017—The Office of the Provost will host an open house Tuesday, Sept. 19, to showcase Vanderbilt’s internal funding programs and professional development initiatives available to faculty.
