Free colon cancer awareness event is Aug. 5
Jul. 25, 2016—For some people, cancer—especially colon cancer—is a persistent and potentially deadly visitor affecting family members from one generation to the next. Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, in partnership with the Colon Cancer Alliance, is hosting a free seminar to educate the public about risk factors associated with the disease.

Submit poster abstracts now for 2016 Kennedy Center Science Day
Jun. 2, 2016—The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center's 2016 Science Day is Sept. 19 from noon to 5:30 p.m. in the Student Life Center. Each year more than 100 posters are presented by undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research faculty and research staff. The poster submission process is competitive, and the call for poster abstracts is now open.
