Aug. 31, 2022—For six minutes on Aug. 24, patients of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt went out of this world — or at least their voices did — to connect with the International Space Station.

‘The Call’ will let Children’s Hospital patients talk to astronauts on space station

Mar. 11, 2020—Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is about to be out of this world. The Children’s Hospital school program has been chosen as one of only nine schools across the country to talk with astronauts aboard the International Space Station as it passes over Tennessee.
