Mar. 24, 2021—Recently, students from 12 colleges and high schools across the area teamed up to host one collective virtual dance marathon event, called “Marathon of Marathons,” to raise funds for Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Jul. 29, 2020—Vanderbilt University was recently awarded the 2020 Community Service Award by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and the Fiesta Bowl for its Dancing Dores program and Dance Marathon. Both programs raise funds for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Feb. 22, 2018—Vanderbilt University Dance Marathon, the largest student-run philanthropy on Vanderbilt’s campus, hosted its 16th annual, 13-hour “Big Event” on Feb. 17, the culmination of a year of raising funds and awareness for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Jan. 25, 2018—Seven universities and one high school joined together Monday, Jan. 15, to host the Middle Tennessee Dance Marathon Carnival at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt to get to know their patient and family ambassadors as well as past and present patients of Children’s Hospital and their families.

Feb. 17, 2016—Vanderbilt’s largest student-run philanthropic organization, which supports the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, is hosting its annual keystone event this Saturday in the Student Life Center Ballroom.
Feb. 9, 2015—Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos jumped in the dance line to join students, volunteers, sponsors and special guests for Vanderbilt University Dance Marathon’s Big Event 2015 on Saturday at the Student Life Center.
Jan. 26, 2012—The 10th annual Vanderbilt University Dance Marathon will be held from 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, to 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Vanderbilt’s Student Recreation Center. The annual event, a collaboration between Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Vanderbilt students, raises money for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
