Jan. 17, 2019—Deborah Deas, MD, MPH, the Mark and Pam Rubin Dean of the School of Medicine and chief executive officer for Clinical Affairs at the University of California, Riverside, will speak from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, in conjunction with the 2019 Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Series at Vanderbilt.
Jan. 18, 2018—André Churchwell, MD, greeted those gathered in Light Hall for Monday’s Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Lecture with a reminder that his father, Robert, gave the first such lecture at Vanderbilt 17 years ago.
Dec. 2, 2014—The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award will be presented Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, to a faculty or staff member in the School of Medicine, School of Nursing or at Vanderbilt University Medical Center who emulates the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through his or her work.
