UPDATE: Security Notice – burglary on campus
Jun. 1, 2015—On Friday, May 29, at approximately 11 a.m., Vanderbilt University Communications received a call of a burglary that took place between 12:30-1:30 a.m. at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital Subway sandwich shop located at 2200 Children's Way.
VKC to host parental stress intervention conference July 14-17
May. 29, 2015—Instructors will split the four-day conference into two, two-day sessions, with each session focusing on one of two intervention manuals created by VKC researchers to teach parents of children with disabilities how to manage stress.
Customers to receive credits for some Lync long-distance calls made in April
May. 28, 2015—During April, Vanderbilt IT experienced an issue with the termination of some Lync long-distance calls that resulted in overcharges. Customers who were incorrectly charged will receive their appropriate credits in May.

Apr. 13, 2015—Levi Watkins Jr., M.D., renowned cardiac surgeon, champion of racial equality and diversity, and the first African-American to be admitted to and graduate from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (VUSM), died Saturday from complications after suffering a stroke. He was 70.
