School of Nursing pins record-breaking number of graduates
Aug. 9, 2018—The largest number of students — 370 — in Vanderbilt University School of Nursing’s 108-year history graduated from their academic programs and were celebrated in pinning ceremonies Sunday, Aug. 5, at Langford Auditorium.

Aug. 9, 2017—The Vanderbilt University School of Nursing recognized more than 350 students for the completion of their programs with pinning ceremonies held at Langford Auditorium Aug. 6. Pinning is a tradition unique to nursing that signifies entry into the profession.
Ceremony highlights VUSN students’ achievements
Jan. 5, 2017—Family and friends of 17 Vanderbilt University School of Nursing students gathered in Benton Chapel Dec. 9 for pinning ceremonies. Among those receiving the nursing pin were two Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners and nine Nurse-Midwifery Nurse Practitioners.
