Laboratory employees get an early look at new facility

Sep. 22, 2023—Vanderbilt University Medical Center laboratory employees, their families and many others involved in the ongoing transformation of the Medical Center's laboratories had a first peek at the new 110,000-square-foot core laboratory space during a recent open house.

Debra Friedman receives Hyundai Hope On Wheels Impact Award

Sep. 22, 2023—Debra Friedman, MD, MS, has been awarded a $100,000 Hyundai Hope On Wheels Impact Award to examine outcomes in pediatric, adolescent and young adult sarcoma patients and survivors.

State of the Department of Pediatrics address highlights growth, achievements

Sep. 21, 2023—During his State of the Department of Pediatrics address, Steven Webber, MBChB, MRCP, celebrated the department’s people, highlighted the achievements of the past fiscal year and provided insights into the journey ahead.

This year’s REDCapCon drew of attendees from 19 countries, six continents, and 42 U.S. states and territories.
