Mobile app from VUMC supports field research around the world
Feb. 10, 2022—In 2015 a team at Vanderbilt launched the Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) Mobile Application. As of a year ago, the app had been enabled by 802 organizations around the world and had been used for 9,871 projects involving 19,636 end-users.
REDCap Day 2020
Feb. 27, 2020—Researchers gathered Feb. 25 in Light Hall for presentations in celebration of VUMC’s fourth annual REDCap Day. REDCap (short for Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases.
REDCap data management tool reaches million user mark
Aug. 15, 2019—Fifteen years after it was launched, REDCap, Vanderbilt University’s research data management tool, has reached 1 million users throughout the world.
