Task Force for Physician Empowerment makes recommendations

Oct. 31, 2017—The Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Task Force for Empowerment and Well-being, a 16-member multidisciplinary group formed earlier this year to develop a deeper understanding of the nationwide problem of physician burnout and suggest solutions at VUMC, has made its initial recommendations.

Online survey set to gauge physician well-being

Jul. 27, 2017—The Vanderbilt Task Force for Empowerment and Well-Being, a group formed earlier this year to investigate and implement ways to prevent burnout among physicians, will be using an online tool to gather information in the next few weeks to help it with its work.
