Dwyer departing from VUH leadership role
Jun. 9, 2023—Shon Dwyer, MBA, RN, President of Vanderbilt University Hospital (VUH), is leaving her role as the facility’s leader at the end of the fiscal year. Lee Ann Liska, MBA, VUH’s Chief Operating Officer, will step in as Chief Operating Officer and Interim Hospital President.

Feb. 20, 2014—C. Lee Parmley, M.D., J.D., professor of Anesthesiology and chief of the Critical Care Division of the Department of Anesthesiology, has been named chief of staff of Vanderbilt University Hospital. He assumed the position Feb. 17.
Initiative seeks to anticipate discharge dates for patients
