Flulapalooza mass vaccination event set for Oct. 7
Sep. 24, 2015—Vanderbilt University and Medical Center (VUMC) faculty, staff, students and volunteers will once again have the opportunity to be part of a mass flu vaccination event that four years ago more than doubled the current world record for the total number of vaccinations given in an eight-hour period.

Vanderbilt researchers develop potential treatment to fight mosquito-borne chikungunya virus
Jul. 8, 2015—In late 2013 the Caribbean had its first case of the mosquito-borne chikungunya virus. Today there have been almost 1.2 million cases in 44 countries or territories, including 177 cases in 31 U.S. States.
