Garland Avenue will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, through the evening on Saturday, Aug. 9, for the placement of an electrical duct bank for the new Engineering and Science Building currently under construction.
Other utility work for the site is starting on the adjacent streets of 25th and Highland avenues and will continue through the end of September, requiring some intermittent lane closures. Care will be taken to keep all roads open and to minimize disruption to the morning and afternoon rush periods.
Sidewalks on Highland and Garland avenues adjacent to the construction site will be closed, but walks opposite the site will remain open.
