Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos and his wife, Lydia, hosted an early Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 20 in the Student Life Center’s Commodore Ballroom for approximately 120 students staying on campus during the holiday break.
“My hope is that you really try to find some time over this break to put work aside and take care of yourself,” Zeppos told the students.
Those gathered enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving spread provided by Vanderbilt Catering that included sage roasted turkey breast with pan gravy, green bean casserole with crispy fried onions, maple glazed roasted sweet potatoes, fresh cranberry dressing with orange zest, pecan pie with chocolate sauce and shavings, and more.
