Neil Price, MD, assistant professor of Clinical Medicine, joined Vanderbilt University Medical Center recently and specializes in gastroenterology.
He earned an MD from the University of Texas, San Antonio, completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and was a fellow in gastroenterology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
He practices general gastroenterology and performs endoscopy, esophageal dilation and colonoscopy. He cares for patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
“Neil is a treasure as well as being an exceptional gastroenterologist. He always approaches clinical gastroenterology in a patient-forward manner and Vanderbilt will clearly benefit from his expertise and compassionate patient care as a new member of our faculty,” said Richard Peek, MD, director of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in the Department of Medicine.
“I enjoy caring for patients with gastrointestinal disorders and developing a relationship with them in the process,” Price said. “Working as a part of a Vanderbilt GI division with outstanding subspecialty colleagues, I’m confident that I can provide my patients with an exceptional quality of care.”
Price is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, a fellow of the American Gastroenterology Association, and is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
He sees patients in the Digestive Diseases Clinic and in the Vanderbilt Integrated Gastroenterology Clinic in Lebanon, Tennessee.
