Bring family and furry friends to the Greater Nashville Heart Walk this Saturday at Dragon Park at 2400 Blakemore Avenue. The event kicks off at 8 a.m. with activities including “Paw-lympics” for dogs, hands only CPR training, blood pressure screenings and a kid zone.
The 55 VUMC teams and 384 walkers are on track to raise $75,000 toward the American Heart Association’s $2 million goal that supports lifesaving research and health advocacy efforts.
All registered VUMC employees will get a t-shirt to wear for the walk. A VUMC team photo will be taken at 9:10 a.m., so wear your T-shirt proudly.
