Addressing disparities in maternal health care, expanding the diversity of workforce recruitment pipelines, how to develop age-friendly care, effective ways to reach under-represented communities, and examples of community partnerships are all topics at Strategy Share 2022. Audience members will learn more about these and many more subjects during the live event on Oct. 26, 2 pm to 4:30 pm in Langford Auditorium.
“To honor everyone’s busy schedules, Strategy Share has transformed from a two-day event to just two-and-a-half hours,” said David Calkins, PhD, assistant vice president for research. “A committee of our colleagues has worked tirelessly to curate a series of live interviews and panel discussions that will engage and inspire all.”
More than 70 VUMC colleagues will share their personal stories that advance the Medical Center Strategic Directions and make health care personal. The three components of the Strategic directions are Making Diversity and Inclusion Intentional, Design for Patients and Families and Discover, Learn and Share.
All members of the VUMC Community are invited and encouraged to attend including faculty, staff, and trainees.
Strategy Share event showcases and connects colleagues around the innovative work happening across Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
For those who cannot join in person, a live stream link will be available closer to the event date.
