Incoming traffic from 21st Avenue South onto Medical Center Drive to the north entrance of the Vanderbilt University Hospital will be impacted Saturday, May 27, from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a crane installation to conduct work at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Medical Center Drive will be closed in both directions, and only emergency vehicles will be allowed access for the duration of the project. The turn lanes from 21st Avenue onto Medical Center Drive will also be closed off during this time.
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
Parking at East Garage will not be affected. Outgoing traffic from the garage will be directed to the right onto 21st Avenue.
