Becker’s Hospital Review has once again named Vanderbilt University Medical Center as one of the “Great hospitals in America.”
The Becker’s Healthcare editorial team selected this year’s “Great hospitals in America” for inclusion based on analysis of ranking and award agencies, including Healthgrades, CMS star ratings and Leapfrog grades. Becker’s also sought nominations for this list.
The final result is a list of the hospitals considered overall health care leaders in their region, state or the nation.
According to Becker’s Healthcare, hospitals named to the list are renowned for clinical excellence, patient safety, innovation efforts, research and education, patient satisfaction and more.
“Inclusion in Becker’s Great hospitals in America is another indicator of the commitment of our physicians, nurses and staff to the patients we serve. I want to congratulate everyone for this achievement,” said C. Wright Pinson, MBA, MD, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Health System Officer for VUMC.
