Friends of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is observing National Friendship Day, July 30. Monroe Carell’s volunteer organization is inviting the community to join them on this day dedicated to kindness and compassion. The Friends’ mission – to support hospitalized children and their families — is put into action through programs such as free family meals and departmental grants.
