Vanderbilt University Medical Center presents the seventh town hall in the On the Horizon series, “New Technology Platforms at Vanderbilt: Cores at the Cutting Edge” hosted by Susan Meyn, associate vice president for Research Resources of the Office of Research, with presentations from Eric Skaar, PhD, MPH, David Flaherty, Jenny Schafer, PhD, and Jim Cassat, MD, PhD.

Participants will learn more about the VUMC’s Flow Cytometry Shared Resource and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine – Basic Sciences’ Cell Imaging Shared Resource. These cores provide researchers with advanced technologies and expert support for cell analysis and imaging, enabling advanced studies in cell biology, immunology, and cancer research through access to high-end instruments, training, and consultation. By offering specialized services like these, Vanderbilt cores and shared resources foster efficient, high-quality research and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.

Following the presentation there will be a Q&A session with the presenters and additional experts.

All Vanderbilt faculty, trainees and staff are encouraged to attend.
