The Meharry-Vanderbilt-Tennessee State University Cancer Partnership deadline for a new projects letter of intent is Sept. 27.
Details are provided below.
Research project funding is restricted to faculty at MMC, TSU, & VUMC/VU .
- Joint research projects conducted primarily at Vanderbilt must specifically address areas of cancer disparity in racial and ethnic minority and socio-economically disadvantaged populations.
- Joint projects conducted primarily at MMC or TSU may be in any area of cancer research.
- Investigators at all institutions are encouraged to apply.
- Use of MVTCP cores is encouraged.
- There must be a minimum of two investigators on the project representing two of the three institutions. You must include an investigator from VUMC/VICC/VU with a partner from TSU or MMC.
- Funding for up to $200,000 direct costs per year for three years is available.
