Laura Beth Brown, M.S.N., R.N., president of Vanderbilt Home Care Services, has been appointed to the Constituent Assembly Executive Committee of the American Nurses Association.
She will serve in this capacity until November.
In order to be named to this committee, Brown is required to head a nursing group, such as her current role as president of the Tennessee Nurses Association.
The American Nurses Association is composed of 54 constituent member associations, 50 state nurses associations, plus Washington, D.C., Guam, the Virgin Islands and the Federal Nurses Association for military personnel.
