During a celebration honoring the 95th birthday of Sarah Sell, M.D., right, on March 20, the inaugural Sarah H. Sell chair in Pediatrics was bestowed upon Kathryn Edwards, M.D., left. Sell, whose many accomplishments include finding a vaccine for Haemophilus influenza type-b, trained Edwards, who is now a renowned vaccine researcher. Sell was joined by her close friend and colleague, Mildred Stahlman, M.D., center, a pioneer in neonatology.
