Vanderbilt Kennedy Center investigator Wendy Stone, Ph.D., has been awarded the annual Outstanding Alumni Award from the Psychology Department at the University of Miami.
“It is a thrill and honor to receive this award. The University of Miami Department of Psychology has produced many exceptional scholars, and I am delighted to be included alongside them,” said Stone, professor of Pediatrics.
Stone received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami in 1981 and came to VUMC in 1988. She was instrumental in establishing the Vanderbilt Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD), which she also directs.
