Harold Freeman, M.D., associate director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and director of the Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities at the NCI, will give the keynote address of the Colorectal Cancer Disparities Conference at Vanderbilt next week, sponsored by the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance.
The speech will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday evening, Nov. 2, in Light Hall, room 208. The Vanderbilt community and the public are invited to attend.
Freeman will focus on disparities in conquering colorectal cancer.
Freeman is the leader of the American Cancer Society's initiative on cancer in the poor.
