Vanderbilt will offer its inaugural Molecular Epidemiology Course June 7-10 at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
The interdisciplinary course, co-sponsored by the International Agency for Cancer Research, will bring together epidemiologists and laboratory scientists involved in molecular studies of the cause and prevention of cancer and other chronic diseases.
The course is intended for faculty, post docs, graduate students and other professional staff who wish to learn more about developments in genetics, proteomics, and other biologic markers and their application in epidemiologic studies of disease risk.
Enrollment will be open to qualified candidates from the United States and abroad, but capped to enable ample discussion.
