Elisabeth Howard, M.S.N., a certified nurse-midwife, has been recognized as a leader in nurse-midwifery for the Volunteer State by the Tennessee Chapter of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
Howard was acknowledged by the organization for her contributions to nurse-midwifery and maternal and infant health. She is the coordinator of the West End Women’s Health Center, operated by the Vanderbilt School of Nursing, and was recently selected by students to receive a national American College of Nurse-Midwives Award for Excellence.
