Dr. Satish R. Raj joined the Vanderbilt University Medical Center faculty in October as instructor of Medicine. He is also a member of the Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation program at VUMC.
Raj received his B.Sc degree in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., in 1991 and his medical degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1993.
After a cardiology residency at Queen’s University, Raj held a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada, Canadian Institutes of Health Research. He brings with him a National Institutes of Health K30 Training Grant.
