Rolanda Johnson, Ph.D., assistant professor of Nursing, has been accepted into the Summer Genetics Institute sponsored by the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), a division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The two-month, full-time summer training program is aimed at developing and expanding the research capacity among graduate students and faculty in nursing, and developing and expanding the basis for clinical practice in genetics among advanced practice nurses.
Johnson will attend the Summer Genetics Institute June 1-July 25.
