Now that he's officially retired after two decades of distinguished service at VUMC, colleagues and friends of Dr. Joseph Ross, associate vice chancellor for Health Affairs, felt that a toy doctor kit might come in handy. Among many other accomplishments, Ross was the driving force behind LifeFlight and the Vanderbilt Self-Insured Trust, and served as VUMC's medical spokesperson for the Office of News and Public Affairs.
