March is National Kidney Month, and March 13 is World Kidney Day. World Kidney Day is a global campaign that aims to raise awareness of the importance of our kidneys to our overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.
Health Plus is holding a kidney health event on Thursday, March 13, on the Medical Center Plaza, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Speak with vendors from the Tennessee Kidney Foundation to benefit kidney health by learning information and about steps to reduce the risk of kidney disease..
Vanderbilt Health & Wellness vendors will also be on site to provide free biometric screenings and resources to support your physical and mental health.
