Plans for the Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital will highlight a kickoff event for the Eve of Janus Ball on Sunday, June 1, 2 p.m.-4 p.m., in the lobby of the Frances Williams Preston Building on the Vanderbilt campus.

Vanderbilt-Ingram begins enrolling current, former smokers in National Lung Cancer Screening Trial

Current and former smokers are needed for a new study to determine if screening people with either spiral computerized tomography (CT) or chest X-ray before they have symptoms can reduce deaths from lung cancer.
