It’s the time of year when backyards attract children, trails beckon hikers, and poison ivy attacks the unwary. The Tennessee Poison Center at VUMC provides tips for avoiding or treating the itch-causing plant pest this summer.

UPDATE: Security Notice – burglary on campus

On Friday, May 29, at approximately 11 a.m., Vanderbilt University Communications received a call of a burglary that took place between 12:30-1:30 a.m. at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Subway sandwich shop located at 2200 Children’s Way.

VKC to host parental stress intervention conference July 14-17

Instructors will split the four-day conference into two, two-day sessions, with each session focusing on one of two intervention manuals created by VKC researchers to teach parents of children with disabilities how to manage stress.

Customers to receive credits for some Lync long-distance calls made in April
