Forum explores  diversity, inclusion strategies

André Churchwell, M.D., Chief Diversity Officer for Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), and Traci Nordberg, J.D., Chief Human Resources Officer, hosted a Diversity & Inclusion welcome event on Nov. 18 in which Churchwell discussed his vision for the Office for Diversity Affairs and the strategic planning necessary to make diversity and inclusion intentional throughout the Medical Center.

Churchwell named chief diversity officer for VUMC

Dr. Andre Churchwell has been named to the newly created role of chief diversity officer for Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In this role, he will continue to oversee the Office for Diversity Affairs in the School of Medicine while also engaging with other leaders across VUMC to create new opportunities for increasing diversity and inclusion.
