The alliance is an academic consortium of 32 institutions of higher learning — including leading research and teaching colleges and universities — that is dedicated to developing underrepresented students into outstanding leaders and role models in academia, business and the public sector. This is the first time Vanderbilt played host to the Leadership Alliance, which meets twice a year.
