Moore lands national CME award
Don Moore, Ph.D., director of the Division of Continuing Medical Education, has won a new award from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.
Moore received the Robert Raszkowski ACCME Hero Award for contributing time and expertise in developing and promoting standards of quality in continuing medical education (CME).
The award was created to honor Robert Raszkowski, M.D., Ph.D., dean of CME at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. Raszkowski was a leader in the CME community and died in November.
“While it is always an honor to receive an award, to receive an award named for one of my very best friends, and one of my most respected colleagues, is a thrill that is hard to describe,” said Moore.
“I am a little stunned.”
