• Vanderbilt Organ/Tissue Donor Awareness Day — Wednesday, April 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Medical Center North lobby and Hospital Cafeteria. Information on organ and tissue donation will be available.
Donor cards will be available for signing along with information on living wills. Transplant recipients will be on hand to answer questions.
• Celebration of Life — Saturday, April 29 at 1 p.m. in 208 Light Hall. The Vanderbilt Transplant Center, in partnership with Tennessee Donor Services, will host its annual donor memorial service. Loved ones who made the gift of donation will be honored. The national Donor Quilt will be on display from the National Kidney Foundation with panels representing Middle Tennessee families.
