Colleagues and supporters gathered in the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center last week to cheer on VUSN’s Joan King, Ph.D., before she departs this week for the Bristol-Myers Squibb Tour of Hope. King, a breast cancer survivor, was chosen to ride across the country alongside cycling legend Lance Armstrong in the campaign to raise awareness about clinical trials and cancer research.
