Lucian Leape, M.D., from Harvard School of Public Health, will be on campus Wednesday, Sept. 14, speaking to VUMC's risk, safety and quality professionals.
The program, which is open to the VUMC community, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in 206 PRB. The program format will be a dialogue about what Vanderbilt is doing in the areas of safety and risk.
The next day, Leape will give the keynote address at the 2nd Annual Tennessee Patient Safety Symposium, sponsored in part by Vanderbilt's Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy.
Leape is a health policy analyst whose research has focused on error prevention and quality of care.
