Van Kaer to serve on journal consulting board
Luc Van Kaer, Ph.D., professor of Microbiology and Immunology, has been appointed to a two-year renewable term on the Board of Consulting Editors for the Journal of Clinical Investigation (JCI).
As a member of the board, Van Kaer will provide critical, constructive and timely reviews of contributed articles, as well as advice on the editorial content and policy of the journal. Consulting editors are also asked to contribute to commentaries and review articles in the journal and to other print and electronic-only content on the journal's Web page.
The JCI is the publication of the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI) and has been published continuously since 1924. The general-interest biomedical journal has a broad readership and, since 1996, has provided barrier-free online access to its research articles — including articles dating back to 1924.
