Nancy Evans, chief information officer, VUMC Hospitals and Clinics, is among an inaugural group of five women selected for Health Data Management magazine’s new Women in Healthcare IT “recognition program.”
The magazine’s editors selected five honorees based on a review of nominations solicited from readers. Stories about Evans and all the others will appear in the magazine’s November issue.
Evans, who has worked in information technology at Vanderbilt since 1976, was an early recipient of Vanderbilt’s Five Pillar Leader Award, which was introduced in 2009 to honor staff and faculty who exemplify Medical Center leadership standards.
